Axelrod: Republicans Screwing Up The Economy To Hurt The President

David Axelrod, head of President Obama‘s reelection effort, has made a heated charge against Republican rivals. That they are willing to hurt the country just to hurt the President.

Axelrod told Fox News “You have to wonder whether some folks over there think somehow — think screwing up the economy, throwing a wrench in the works is a good political strategy for them,” Axelrod told Fox News. “Somehow if they can slow the recovery down, if they can cost a half million or delay a half million jobs, that that will hurt the president.”

It seems pretty obvious that this is going to be a central theme in the Obama reelection effort. Republicans are messing up the country, implementing policies to hurt the poor and favor the rich and all to enrich themselves and hurt President Obama.

Pot calling the kettle black? This Judeo-liberal can't blame America's demise on the Republican President before him anymore, so he now has to blame the Republican President coming up after him.

I think it's more a case of Obama screwing up the economy in order to discredit Republicans! You decide! Personally...I think the narcissist in chief would stop at absolutely NOTHING to get a second term.

I don't think he needs any help from the Republicans screwing anything up. He's doing a good enought screw up job on his own. Everything is always somebody else's fault-never his!

Actually they are slowing the pace of chaotic bill's and regulations so Obama doesn't trash the Economy and Country any more than he has already! I applaud them for it.
Restore the Republic & Vote Obama out in 2012!

Until the Democrats, along with their propaganda machine, the lame-stream media, deliberately destroyed the economy, Bush had extremely high approval ratings. Now Axelrod is falsely accusing the Republicans of doing exactly what the Democrats did. Their hypocrisy fits perfectly with their deceit and arrogance.

Why should the "community organizer" in-Chief need to blame Republicans?....He is doing a good enough job at screwing up the economy and making himself look bad without any help....

Could we expect anything less during an election year? This is only a portend of what will happen in 2012 and this is miniscule compared to what will happen. We'll see the worst of the worst racist attacks and accusations along with lie after lie-and you are right,, many will believe a lie from Obama due to the pigmentation. Actually, race has nothing to do with one's ability to govern, it is experience, patriotism, ability to lead, economic wherewithal and one has to surround himself with intelligent, knowledgeable people rather than idiots-and listen to them and they'll be succcessful.

How stupid does David Axelrod think we are?! How do the cameramen keep from laughing off-camera. Was this Take 75 or something. This reminds me of Harry Truman's description of "The Big LIe" whereas if the lie is big and told often enough, people will start to believe it, no matter how preposterous it is.

Axelrod's nothing more than a no good liar. Obama and the democratic liberal leftist pukes are the real destroyers of the American economy. Axelrod needs to pinch himself very hard with a pair of vice grip pliers, so that he can awaken to the truth.

These people must all go to "Liar's School". They could not say such things with a straight face unless they graduated with high honors, obviously a prerequisite for service in this administration.

The most amazing thing isn't how good they are at spreading and creating such falsehood but rather that there are people out there that can actually believe it! Proof is not necessary.

O'bummer purposefully screwed up the economy, obviously by putting those lame folks such as Bernanke and Geithner in charge. THAT has nothing to do with anybody else but himself.

He WANTS the country to fail financially so he can make it a 3rd world country, ripe for his New World (Fascist) Order to take over.

A little perspective here: The Republicans don't want to pass the 2-month payroll tax amnesty because it doesn't work. Payroll companies and small businesses are all saying the same thing: There is no time to implement a payroll tax cut in 2 months. It's virtually impossible to modify the payroll software in time because in two months, everything changes again. That is why the Republicans are pushing for a 1-year extension to the payroll tax cut.

Of course, Obama and his Marxist "idiots" are going to say it's the Republicans' fault for trying to do the right thing. Obama can't run on his record, so he runs and hides in Hawaii. He doesn't know how to govern. Contrary to the lying, sniveling Democrats saying that the Republicans left us in a "huge hole", the Republicans DID NOT leave us in a huge hole. You have to blame the Democrat Congress for that. They've been in power since 2006. The current Republicans only control one house and one part of government. When Obama had both houses that were veto proof, he did absolutely nothing other than pass Obamacare which will destroy the economy with it's $5 Trillion per year costs.

This is a quote I received form a reliable source that asked me to pass it along that sums this ip quite well!
"NO ONE I’VE HEARD HAS A VIABLE ANSWER TO REDUCING FEDERAL SPENDING, AND AS A WISE PERSON ONCE SAID. “IF WE ARE NOT CAREFUL, WE ARE GOING TO END UP IN THE DIRECTION WE’RE HEADED!”
The day the Democrats took over was not January 22nd 2009, it was actually January 3rd 2007, the day the Democrats took over the House of Representatives and the Senate, at the very start of the 110th Congress.
The Democratic Party controlled a majority in both chambers for the first time since the end of the 103rd Congress in 1995.
For those who are listening to the liberals propagating the fallacy that everything is "Bush's Fault", think about this...
January 3rd, 2007, the day the Democrats took over the Senate and the Congress:
The DOW Jones closed at 12,621.77
The GDP for the previous quarter was 3.5%
The Unemployment rate was 4.6%
George Bush's Economic policies SET A RECORD of 52 STRAIGHT MONTHS of JOB CREATION!

What a joke! Obama and the Democrats are the ones who are inhibiting the economic growth of this country and this clown is trying to project their failures upon the Republicans. He needs to get another job.
