Can I ask you a quick favor?
Here at the Musgrave house we are busy preparing for Christmas and the arrival of children and grandchildren. This beautiful time of year can also be the most stressful so I won’t take up too much of your time but, Jack, I wouldn’t ask if it wasn’t important.
As Marjorie told you earlier this week, President Obama and his radically pro-abortion Department of Health & Human Services (HHS) Secretary, Kathleen Sebelius, are again interfering with the will of states trying to protect life and get taxpayers out of the abortion business by defunding Planned Parenthood.
In another huge overstep of power, the Obama administration denied funding for poor women in Texas, because the health program didn’t send taxpayer dollars to Planned Parenthood.
Here are two things you can do to help us fight back right now, even during the bustle of the holiday season:
- Send a message to President Obama & Secretary Sebelius—Planned Parenthood is responsible for the deaths of thousands of unborn children and pro-life American taxpayers are sick and tired of being culpable in the slaughter. The President must respect the will of the states to best decide how to spend their taxpayer dollars and stop interfering with their right to defund Planned Parenthood. Tell the President and Secretary to back off immediately and restore funding for women in need in Texas!
- Make an urgent donation to help us expose President Obama’s radical support for Big Abortion and defund Planned Parenthood once and for all—As Marjorie mentioned earlier this week, your SBA List has received an early Christmas gift: a generous group of longtime supporters of the SBA List have issued a matching $100,000 gift challenge to encourage our family across the country to contribute during the holidays.

We've got to stand up to President Obama and Secretary Sebelius now because we have to preempt their attacks on other states. We must remain vigilant.

P.S. Jack, the pro-life movement is making gains across the country, not only are we changing hearts and minds but, little by little, Planned Parenthood is being defunded.
President Obama and his pro-abortion cronies are the only thing standing in our way from getting taxpayers completely out of the abortion business. Once again, in Texas, he's defying the will of the people to spend their money as they see fit and is denying funding for women in need rather than see Planned Parenthood lose a taxpayer-funded handout.
