As the GOP primaries heat up, and 2012 election quickly approaches, the Obama reelection campaign has reportedly decided to direct all of its attention to the economy. Perhaps three years of being hammered by Republicans for poor job growth and high unemployment prompted this change.
“We’re seeing continuing high levels of unemployment. We see home values declining; foreclosures remain at record levels,” said former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney, concluding that Obama “has failed in the job he was elected to do.” And Romney’s not the only high-profile GOP candidate to attack President Obama on the economy. All of them have.

I would rather have the tax holiday money going into my SS account, the government will just spend it anyway. All SS recipients are going to get a raise, 3.2%, oh boy, but medicare is going up, so what we will get is about $30.00 per month, and we have to pay income taxes on that. The whole idea of the government is to keep the little people down.

There is a difference between 51.7% of the people eligible to vote and those who voted. In the 2008 election, as in the elections in the past, less than 50% of those eligible bothered to vote. So the 51.7% of the people who voted was closer to only ¼ of the American people. The over 50% of the people who didn’t vote, did just as much to put Obama and his fellow Democrats in office as the clowns who voted for them. The goal this election is to not stomp to who you want to be President for Republicans, the goal exclusively to task is to rid this country of Obama. Time for Republicans to stop arguing to who is more conservative or not, who is too moderate or not, but to get behind the person who defeats Obama. So far, from what is known if the Repubicans will get behind Romney and unify, Obama is in some serious trouble. A Romney-Rubio ticket looks real formidable or a Romney-McConnell ticket is also tough for Obama/Biden. What would be real theatre would be Romney to have Newt as his running mate and to get to watch Newt debate Joe Biden, you talk about fun to watch…..oh would the democrats want to run from that.
Arguing amongst the Republican candidates is fine and even needed now. This provides additional insight about who is pro what and against what. Once a candidate has been chosen at the Repub. convention, that’s when all the bickering and fighting must stop and we must present a united front against the democraps.
