Maxine Waters Ethics Case Drags On

The House Ethics Committee has extended the special counsel investigation over conflict-of-interest allegations against Representative Maxine Waters (D-Calif.) and whether the panel itself improperly pursued the case against the lawmaker.
As part of an investigation that may cost taxpayers as much as $800,000, the bipartisan panel voted unanimously to give Washington lawyer Billy Martin until July 31 to assist the committee in its handling of the Waters case.
Waters is accused of using her legislative power to intervene on behalf of a bank where her husband owned stock and served on the board. The case against Waters has been delayed twice. First, the committee delayed trial to further investigate the case and then the committee came under investigation for its handling of the case, according to The Sacramento Bee.
Waters has a particular interest in getting any charges cleared. The 73-year-old lawmaker is in line to succeed retiring Representative Barney Frank of Massachusetts as the top Democrat on the House Financial Services Committee.

Beam me up, Scotty. An “ethics” committee [in WASHINGTON?] is thinking about ‘investigating’ a 73 year old woman because she might take over for another hack politician who should have been investigated long ago. Isn’t that a bit like whores at a coffee shop talking about making some investments so they can have a better reputation?
Obviously, we need MORE politicians in Washington.
We just don’t have enough ‘to do the job.’ Some folks in California want a 73 year old woman in Washington. Some people in DC want a 73 year old woman to be investigated. And the American people get to watch more tax dollars wasted because an ‘ethics’ committee can’t remove their collective heads from their collective rumps and either get the investigation done or end it.
Yep, There’s no doubt about it. There is NO common sense in Washington. I’d like to volunteer for the job. I’m younger. I’ll do the job for less money, and I’m used to being called names for trying to get close to the truth.
Maxine, I want to introduce you to a Mr. Bonehead. You two are of the same mind, and you should at least live together. It’s ‘OK,’ and no one in Washington will mind the new arrangement. Between the two of you, you might have almost fifty cents worth of integrity and serve a purpose – almost. Be happy. If you two don’t deserve each other, it sure does seem that way.
Hold off on it until after the elections in 2012 and the “committee” gets replaced with constitutional representation. It is time for the crooks in Washington to get what they deserve, not like Charlie Rangel who lied about his earnings, and “neglected” to pay income taxes to the IRS and got a slap on the wrist from the Demorats. He should have been kicked out….this is what the people want…if you are a crook, then you get fired….it is time.
Maxine is a Registered Socialist and needs run out of Washington along with the rest of the Socialist and take America Back! The oath she took isn’t worth the breath she wasted taking it, because the Socialist DON’T believe in Republics or FREE citizens they believe in subjects and slaves! Semper Fi.
Maxine should have been thrown out as well as Barney the cartoon character Frank years ago, as a matter of fact the entire bunch should be thrown out. I don’t thing there is such a thing as ethics in Washington.
When she, not only was present but participated in the infamous LA riots was enough for me to know all i needed to know about where she stood.
When Maxine feels more heat she will pull out the race card and tell everyone that she was put on the same list as Holder and Obama. Putting her on the finance committee is like putting a cat in charge of the fish bowl.
Maxine Walters has proven she is racist bigot time and time again. This woman feels she is above the law, because she is black, she feels she is being singled out because of her race. The real reality is, she is on the hot seat because she used her political position in an illegal manner and deserves to be brought to justice sooner than later
The ethics committee is being investigated? To think that Maxine Waters is the best the Dems have to put on any committee is funny. This is how seniority works, in the house and in unions, if you hang around long enough you to can be a leader even if you are not smart enough to find your way home each day. She spews venom every time she speaks. If she is on the committee better get some ear plugs.

lets see here the House wants to investigate Maxine Waters for ethics violations? The question would be for what? Getting caught? We just finished with the prior democratic controlled House that came into power as the most ethical in history as proclaimed by that famous insider information trader Nancy Pelosi. I don’t think I will hold my breath on this one folks. I would almost bet that the hearing will be bargained down to where she gets a bonus to pay for her much needed facelift. After all the republicans have Boehner in charge.

It astounds me that people can be such fools. Out of California, well, on second thought, that’s not so unusual. The fools I speak of are the members of Congress that We theSheeple have elected into office and have continued to maintain there. This old *itch is a proud, self acclaimed socialist/racist and her well edumacated constituents love her to no end – as long as they get their welfare checks. Barney the Frankfurter is now stepping out of the picture (one of the best Christmas presents possible) and in turn, oh a correct turn by far as so viewed by that slimy herd of fools in Congress that relish having the despicable letter (D) at the end of their name, look forward with great anticipation to having the one and only Maxzeen Wallers take over. Being but only 73 is a badge of wisdom and honor for her to carry especially with all that she has quietly accomplished on the side whether or not it is both ethically and criminally questionable. Will anything of true relevance emerge from the ethical ethics committee? Extremely doubtful! Yet I at least will keep my fingers crossed in hope that by some remote chance she will receive in the end more in retribution than dear old Charley Rangel.
I have a plan: Let’s all contact our congressmen and tell them to quit the crap, get the goofus Maxine on the ropes, and get her out of the U. S. Congress. She is stupid, a Socialist, a disgrace, and should be removed. Mine is Connie Mack in Florida, and he will hear from me during the Christmas break.
