Another Obama Power Grab?
Hours after enraging Republicans by appointing the head of the new Consumer Financial Protection Bureau while Congress is out of town, PresidentObama again bypassed GOP opposition in appointing three people to the National Labor Relations Board.
While union leaders praised the move, Republicans threatened legal action and said Obama is setting a dangerous precedent by ignoring the will of Congress.
Darrell Issa, chairman of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, called the appointments “highly controversial” and said they “put the interests of union bosses ahead of job creators and workers.”
Sen. Lindsay Graham, R-S.C., said the appointments “may impress the union bosses but will deliver yet another blow to job creation.”
Republicans say the NLRB is biased in favor of unions, and some — including Graham — had pledged to block Senate confirmation of any board nominees.
The board usually has five members, but has been operating with three. It lost another member this week, leaving it unable to conduct regular business.
“The American people deserve to have qualified public servants fighting for them every day – whether it is to enforce new consumer protections or uphold the rights of working Americans,”Obama said when announcing the appointments. “We can’t wait to act to strengthen the economy and restore security for our middle class and those trying to get in it, and that’s why I am proud to appoint these fine individuals to get to work for the American people.”

The national landlord has done it again. He’s a pathological liar/cheater and thief. He’s depriving the tax base of their rights to be represented on the NLRB. He’s overstepping his power as usual. Why is the U.S. House letting him do it? They should start impeachment process against. This is one step further beyond treason; betrayal of the taxpayers. The U.S. Senate with “dirty” Harry Reid and the other DemonRats will probably do to him what they did to Clinton and acquit him. Since we have 1/3 of the U.S. Senate up for grabs, if they acquit Obozo, this should be a sure sign that these people are guilty of treason and they should not be reelected. Obama is slowly becoming a true to form dictator. He thinks he is now king, and can rule at the drop of a hat, with no one to challenge him. Obama and Holder both should be facing Treason Charges immediately for the anti-American crimes they have committed! Obama is proven to be illegal for the office and his Social Security Number doesn’t even pass E-Verify and we’re retaining this criminal as acting Commander-In-Chief of the military, controlling our finances, taking over businesses, etc. etc. etc. How much more of this do we put up with? Obama can’t be tried for treason because he is not a citizen. Since he is Indonesian by adoption, he can be tried for espionage, which is punishable by death. Kick him out of the office that he is illegally occupying and then convict him of that capital crime.

When I write to my Congressional Rep. Lynn Jenkins, the email is intercepted by a staff member and I never get any questions answered; i.e. “how soon will you present legislation to limit members of both Congress and the Supreme Court to a max of 6-8 years?”
The replies I receive NEVER answer the question, only some BS form letter telling me what a great job she is doing for the state of Kansas.
If you think Congress gives a ripe what the American taxpayer is concerned about, then I have some excellent real estate 150 miles east of Miami that would make great building sites.

Don’t discount the staff members. They have their pol’s ear. Staff members keep the pols informed regarding the voter’s (writers and callers) stance(s) on the issues.

I get the distinct impression from these statements that our reps. don’t want to hear from us. And when they do respond it is always in the form of an “aren’t I wonderful” pre-printed letter. It is pointless to bring anything up to them.

In every illegal recess apointment the House should refuse to fund those departments untill the matter is resolved. It’s time the house started acting like they were alected to do and to put the brakes on the unconstitutionaly enacted recess apointments. This Marxist demagogue needs to be brought down.
