Obama to Win 2012 Election by Hook or by Crook
Democrats are resorting to desperate measures to try to insure a 2012 victory for Barak Obama and I believe the expression ‘by hook or by crook’ best describes their methods.
Like many of you, I love to go fishing. I’ve fished many different ways for a number of different types of fish, but always with the same objective, to hook them and reel them in. I have used various baits from worms, to corn to dough balls and chicken liver to fish with a bobber. I’ve bass fished using a variety of different lures with the best results being lures my dad made. Most of all, I enjoy fly fishing as there is more finesse involved in landing your catch.
And all of this reminds me of politics and the use of some kind of bait to lure in the voter. Once the voter takes the bait by casting their vote, they’re stuck with the consequences and in the case of the Democrats of late, those consequences are much like caught fish, because you end up being devoured by the one that caught you.
As for the crook aspect, there can be no doubt that democrats are doing whatever they can to steal the election for Obama.
One example of this is what has taken place in Virginia with their elections board. They used whatever loopholes they could to keep some of the Republican presidential candidates off of the primary ballots by claiming they failed to meet certain qualifications. Newt Gingrich filed suit to have his name placed on the ballot and it appears that several of the other Republican candidates may be joining Gingrich in the legal challenge.
At the same time the Virginia elections board has been trying to keep Republicans off the ballot, it was revealed that they didn’t even bother to verify the signatures presented in 2008 to get Obama on the ballot. Furthermore, others looking into those signatures have found a number of them to be invalid signatures.
Attorney General Eric Holder is another shining example of the ‘crook’ method of securing an Obama win. South Carolina passed a bill that would require voters to have a photo id when voting. The reason behind the law was to help stop voter fraud. Holder and his Department of Justice have blocked the South Carolina law declaring it discriminates against minorities.
Someone please tell me how this discriminates against minorities!
What makes a black, Hispanic, oriental or American Indian unable to get photo id? Are they incapable of performing such a mundane task as obtaining a photo id? If they drive a car, they’re required to have a driver’s license and proof of insurance, but they’re incapable of getting a photo id in order to vote? Don’t they have to have some kind of id in order to receive welfare or other forms of government aid?
All of the arguments that the Democrats and the Obama controlled DOJ use to justify their fight against voter id are empty fronts that can be for no other reason than to keep the system vulnerable to voter fraud. What other possible reason could the DOJ have to block a law requiring voters to have a photo id in order to cast their ballots? Even Newt Gingrich has publicly leveled charges of voter fraud being the reason behind the blocking of the South Carolina law.
By hook or by crook should be Obama’s campaign slogan as that seems to be the only way he believes he can win the 2012 election.
