Dear
Guns & Patriots readers,
There is always news, which is good for a newsletter.
Sometimes the news is about us, like our renewed recruiter relationship with the National Rifle Association, which was just finalized. We can now offer NRA annual memberships to our readers for $25 instead of the regular $35, both new memberships and renewals.
Also, while we are talking about the NRA, in this week's issue, I wanted to share with you one of the most powerful addresses given at the Feb. 9-11 Conservative Political Action Conference. It was given by Wayne LaPierre, the NRA CEO. It absolutely brought the house down. Read it and you will see why.
I was at CPAC for the first two days, but I missed the Saturday for the chance to go to the Nation's Gun Show held in Chantilly, Va., with gun rights icon Dick Heller. Heller has become a great friend of the
G&P newsletter and I hope you appreciate him as much as I do. Our Go button this week will take you to the Heller Foundation, which he set up to support his legal fees as he continues to litigate on our behalf.
Our video is a short feature on an American forces patrol in Afghanistan. The patrol both engages the enemy in a fire fight, and the locals in a key leader meeting in support of the civil government.
I have been using my Mandarin lessons from Pimsleur Approach now for two weeks and it is a very easy way to pick up the sounds and meanings. My problem with Mandarin was always trying to mimic the tones, but with Pimsleur is just natural. They are the sponsor this week and I hope you give them a try.
Before letting you go to check out the rest of the roster, Happy St. Valentine's Day, and just remember, guys: St. Valentine died in prison.
Enjoy,

Neil W. McCabe
