CIA touts ability to read all your “connected” electronics; will “transform” surveillance, says Petraeus

by Joel McDurmon on Mar 17, 2012
The Daily Mail (UK) reports,
When people download a film from Netflix to a flatscreen, or turn on web radio, they could be alerting unwanted watchers to exactly what they are doing and where they are.
Spies will no longer have to plant bugs in your home – the rise of ‘connected’ gadgets controlled by apps will mean that people ‘bug’ their own homes, says CIA director David Petraeus.
The CIA claims it will be able to ‘read’ these devices via the internet – and perhaps even via radio waves from outside the home.
Everything from remote controls to clock radios can now be controlled via apps – and chip company ARM recently unveiled low-powered, cheaper chips which will be used in everything from fridges and ovens to doorbells.
The resultant chorus of ‘connected’ gadgets will be able to be read like a book – and even remote-controlled, according to CIA CIA Director David Petraeus, according to a recent report by Wired’s ‘Danger Room’ blog. . . .
‘Transformational’ is an overused word, but I do believe it properly applies to these technologies,’ said Petraeus.
. . . ‘Items of interest will be located, identified, monitored, and remotely controlled through technologies such as radio-frequency identification, sensor networks, tiny embedded servers, and energy harvesters -  all connected to the next-generation internet using abundant, low-cost, and high-power computing.’

Big Brother? Satan's Disciple? Who is taking over America and we have no human protection, But we, as Christians have the best protection that can be had, "GOD, THE MAKER, THE CREATOR OF AMERICA" IT is still HIS and HE will protect HIS own.
The government only has the power which 'we the people' grant it. What were we thinking?

Anybody thinks they can stop these Politicians today is either out of their mind, or totally naive! The Inmates (Politicians) are running the Prison, we ARE the Prisoners of our Government now and totally without any say in the matter! That is until we get rid of this totally corrupt Government in 2012. Of course we must all stick together to rid ourselves of these people this year, it is do or Die time in America! If Obama is re-elected he may become King Obama for many, many years to come, do not think this can not happen here in the United States of America! He has been working hard these last 3 years to do as he pleases, now he is in a position to do whatever he wants and really cares not what "We the People" think!

If one person would step up with the intestinal fortitude to combat these infringements of our personal liberties, I for one would be there personally to combat this tyranny by their side. Would you?

I wonder if technologies will be able to run if the chip is taken out.

For people doubting... This stuff is real. The real question is can they force it into every piece of electronics made at low cost? This part is pie in the sky. However, simply monitoring the internet and people's mobile devices is a much easier solution. Just secretly take over Facebook and google... But that would be too much like the Soviet Union...

The ironic part is that with a little education and work... All these measures can be circumvented quite easily while still being "plugged in". People often forget that it's hard to make electronics work properly and easy to break them.

In the end, if electronics will kill our freedom, simply unplug... This is effective for everything except rfid.

Surely there is a genius out there somewhere who will come up with some kind of device that will defeat all the apps that can totally invade our lives. If not, we are doomed to stiff regulations that will essentially take our freedoms away and completely enslave us. We will not be allowed to make our own choices of any kind, The powers in charge now, have carefully determined what we can and cannot do without even employing this extreme spying.
