American Vision
Is Jesus Coming Soon?

The American ChallengeWars and rumors of wars, famines, plagues, and earthquakes. These are the biblical signs. All of them are realities of planet earth each day. Is Jesus coming back soon? Did Jesus provide an exact, predictable scenario as so many modern prophecy writers advocate?

The answer to these questions will shock the majority and ambush the sentries of the end-times status quo. Readers of Is Jesus Coming Soon? will no longer be bound by the idol of eschatological tradition which has paralyzed the Church and minimized the impact of Christianity on our world.. Don't be disturbed by what you read, because the truth is about to set you free!

"He was taken up, and a cloud received Him out of their sight" (Acts 1:9). Even as the disciples watched Jesus ascend, this question was certainly on their minds: "Is Jesus coming back soon?" Since that historic day there have been literally thousands of predictions setting the date of Christ's return. They all have one thing in common: They have all been wrong!

Today, the date setting frenzy persists. The prophecy pundits continue to be wrong again and again. How many of these prophecies have failed in your lifetime? Daily on Christian radio and television and the the endless stream of prophecy books we get pumped up with even more "evidence" that Jesus is now "at the door." World events are matched with prophecies as definitive proof that the end is near. Again we wait and hope. It's a familiar cycle: time nullifies each prediction, our hopes are deflated, and out trust level smashed.

No more! The truth is out!

A great little book to put into the hands of someone who is beginning to study biblical prophecy.

The Escondido Theology: A Reformed Response to Two Kingdom Theology
This book is a critical analysis of a theological movement John Frame calls The Escondido Theology. The name is chosen because this movement developed mainly among faculty members of Westminster Seminary California which is located in the city of Escondido, California. The Escondido Theology

Some members of this school of thought, such as Michael Horton, Meredith Kline, and Darryl Hart, are well-known to students of Reformed theology. But these figures have never before been discussed as composing a distinctive school of thought. More often they have been discussed as individual theologians, or simply as representatives of the orthodox Reformed theological tradition. But they are not simply Reformed; they hold views that are quite distinctive, unusual and controversial.

In Dr. Frame's view, these positions are not standard Reformed theology. None of their distinctive positions is taught in any of the Reformed confessions. These positions are an idiosyncratic kind of teaching peculiar to the Escondido school. Those who teach them are a faction, even a sect. 1 Taken in the plain sense of the terms, their positions are all unbiblical. Dr. John Frame's The Escondido Theology is a needed corrective to the rapidly growing advocacy and acceptance of a two-kingdom approach to theology and culture.

It is not only timely, considering the popularity of Two Kingdom Theology, but also because he is the right individual to address the issues, having previously served as a Professor at both Westminster in Philadelphia and then as a founding faculty member at Escondido. Dr. Frame personally witnessed the inception and development of this doctrinal view in Escondido. Dr. Frame's insight and analysis clearly represents my Christian World and Life View because it is historically rooted in Calvinistic theology.

Is Christianity good for the world?

COLLISION carves a new path in documentary film-making as it pits leading atheist, political journalist and bestselling author Christopher Hitchens against fellow author, satirist and evangelical theologian Douglas Wilson, as they go on the road to exchange blows over the question: "Is Christianity Good for the World?"

The two contrarians laugh, confide and argue, in public and in private, as they journey through three cities. And the film captures it all. The result is a magnetic conflict, a character-driven narrative that sparkles cinematically with a perfect match of arresting personalities and intellectual rivalry. COLLISION is directed by prolific independent filmmaker Darren Doane (Van Morrison: Astral Weeks Live at the Hollywood Bowl, The Battle For L.A., Godmoney).

How to Argue with a Liberal... and Win!

How to Argue with a Liberal
When a devotee of private property, free market, limited government principles states his position, he is inevitably confronted with a barrage of socialistic clichés. Failure to answer these has effectively silenced many a spokesman for freedom.

Countering dozens of liberal arguments with logic and tact, How to Argue With a Liberal and Win is a crash course on defending the principles of liberty from her enemies, and gives realistic, educated answers to some of the most persistent "Clichés of Socialism."

Clichés of Socialism answered in this book:

SOLUTION:

1. The more complex the society, the more government control we need.
2. If we had no social security, many people would go hungry.
3. The government should do for the people what the people are unable to do for themselves.
4. The right to strike is conceded, but . . .
5. Too much government? Just what would you cut out?
6. The size of the national debt doesn't matter because we owe it to ourselves.
7. Why, you'd take us back to the horse and buggy.
8. The free market ignores the poor.
9. Man is born for cooperation, not for competition.
10. Americans squander their incomes on themselves while public needs are neglected.
...and many more!!!
