“The [Obama] administration never lets the facts get in the way of a good spin, and this one is a hurricane. After all, you can never let a crisis go to waste.” And by most indicators, the housing market is still in crisis.
On Wednesday, the Obama spin machine was at full throttle with the announcement of “good news” in the housing industry. Then, President Obama announced his latest initiative to spur the housing market, as reported by Reuters “U.S. President Barack Obama pledged up to $275 billion on Wednesday to help stem a wave of home foreclosures, part of a broad effort using massive sums of government money to push the country out of recession.”
The facts are: housing prices have dropped an average of 34% since the burst of the housing bubble high in 2005-2006. Interest rates are frozen at historic lows. Foreclosure rates are at historic highs. Yet, the Obama administration’s media spin on recent indicators about the housing market is solely to show economic improvement from his policies during an election year.

2. US Senate tables your First Amendment rights!

There is an outcry across our nation today. Americans’ religious liberties have once again been trampled upon by President Obama and his sycophants in Harry Reid’s Senate. Reid manipulated the Senate schedule to fast-track the Blunt Amendment onto the Senate floor while Democratic Senators demonized the bill with outlandish allegations and far-fetched scenarios. Today, the Senate voted 51-48 to table this critical bill that would have restored ALL Americans’ First-Amendment rights to the place our forefathers intended in the Constitution.
Today’s vote in the Senate exposed those legislators who are squarely in Obama’s socialist camp and plan to advocate ObamaCare’s unconstitutional mandates to the end.
With the bill’s defeat in the Senate, Congressman Jeff Fortenberry’s “Respect for Rights of Conscience Act,” takes center stage. It is similar to the Blunt Amendment and is making its way through the House of Representatives. He now has 220 co-sponsors.
Representative Fortenberry wrote that his Act, “…would repeal the controversial [ObamaCare] mandate, amending the 2010 health care law to preserve conscience rights for religious institutions, health care providers, and small businesses who pay for health care coverage.”
ACTION: I truly believe that the ObamaCare battleground we are fighting on now may be the toughest political fight we face in our lifetime. 3. Artist portrays Obama trampling Constitution
