Unfortunately for the American people, his role was anything but convincing, and his lasting legacy is as the chief architect of the housing crisis, that brought our national economy to the brink in 2008. But again, you’ll hear a different story from the liberal media. you’ll hear them beam that Frank was “the first Member of Congress to publicly acknowledge that he was gay back in 1987.” or how "Longtime lawmaker brokered critical deals as skilled negotiator," Or the best of all from our friends at the NY Times, “Barney Frank, Moderate” The liberal media’s silence regarding one of their heroes shouldn’t surprise anyone. But, the fact that he’s bowing out now — thus avoiding difficult questions about the Housing bubble, kick-backs, and good-old-boy politicking — should concern all of us. That’s precisely why the Media Research Center is telling the truth about Barney Frank’s real legacy before the liberal media canonizes him. As you may know, our case was before Judge Timothy Black, an Obama appointee who had served as president of the board of a Planned Parenthood affiliate in Ohio. However, he has unexpectedly accepted our request to appeal, and our case now moves before the 6th Circuit Court of Appeals!   Jack, I can't thank you enough for getting us to this point. Rep. Bart Stupak and his gang, including ex-Rep. Steve Driehaus of Ohio, had caved to party pressure and accepted the promise of an Executive Order to allegedly solve the problem of abortion funding in Obamacare. Do you remember that betrayal, Jack? In an instant, President Obama and Nancy Pelosi had the votes they needed to pass the biggest expansion of abortion on-demand since Roe. Stupak and his fellow so-called “pro-life” Democrats bought the lie—the lie that the President’s Executive Order would solve the problem of abortion funding in Obamacare. Jack, as you know, the SBA List, along with the Catholic Bishops, the National Right to Life Committee and every other major pro-life group has said all along: the Executive Order does absolutely nothing to solve the abortion funding problems in Obamacare. Even Representative Diana DeGette, Co-Chair of the House Pro-Choice Caucus was quick to tell her pro-abortion friends that the Executive Order “doesn’t change anything.” Now, Kagan’s email exchange with Larry Tribe, a leading constitutional scholar, is just further proof: President Obama and his pro-abortion allies know the Executive Order is worthless.
