Besides the democrate party my parents belonged to is long gone having been replaced by statist. If we can not convince america that they are in a war; the war of ideas, then all is lost. All who have come before lost their nation when debt overcame them. The statist continue to spend what the nation doesn't have while doing all they can prevent a vote that would remove them from office. How big is the problem? almost 50% believe Obama is a nice guy, good person, doing his best. In feb 2011 we reached 100% GDP. In Dec 2011 we receach 101.5%. We are goiing the debt exponentical. All before us have fall when they reach 140%. Debt collapse the nation. The last 70 years those countries that have gone the way of the statist and have fallen or start to fall; we have bailed them out. But ask you who what people what nation is going to bail our the United STates when we have spent outselves in to bankrupcy? We are no engaged in the battle to decide if we are going to allow Obama and the rest of the statist to "fundmentally change" the nation from a Constiutional republic operating by limited democratic principles to a statist non-soverienge poverty striken member of the UN. The Supreme Court has already ruled that requiring some picture ID is fine. So if all states pattern their requirements after the one that they approved I see no reason that it should not fly.. At that time we can issue a picture id and that will take care of all this nonsense of the dead voting. - TygyrlylyYour numbers are enormously off...there was massive voter fraud in 2008. Probably not so much in 2010 because they thought they had it made. I had to wait in line in 2008 for 3 hrs to vote, while in 2010 I did not wait. I was the only one there. Also in 08 those waiting in line with me all said they came to vote against Obama, and Indiana still claims to have gone to Obama. Horsefeathers!

- KarenThe biggest complaint about showing a Voter ID is that non-drivers, retirees, unemployed that don't have a worker ID, etc. that it is difficult to obtain a photo ID...so make it convenient and inexpensive.....some interprising person set a business close to voter sites and if people bring their legitimate identification that is credible....make them a photo voter ID card near the time of voting that they can keep forever. Takes the excuse away.

You need photo ID to get on a plane, apply for loans, apply for assistance, practically to buy a movie ticket, and I doubt many in the US do not have photo ID. How did those retirees and Soc. Sec. members get on Soc. Sec. or get Medicare?If not, SC says it provide FREE phote IDs. What should be a problem there? In NJ, we used to carry a voter reg. card with our sign. on it. Now, at least, you have to sign in to a book that has your signature and you cannot reg. and vote the same day. FL and OH have reg. and voting the same day and that is why they are ripe for fraud and criminality.

No more expensive, either. - ID's are free. Call your state rep or senator and ask for an ID. They will direct you and help you get a free IDE
- JoJo58True. I often wonder if these people are soooo "disenfranchised" then they must be on some form of public assistance. In order to get the goodies, you must show SOME form of ID. I hope these disenfranchised people don't smoke, drink, etc. since you must show ID to buy it. I know I was required to card EVERYONE that bought beer.
