  Reuters reports: "[C]onservative Republicans in the House of Representatives have been kicked off the House Budget Committee, a rare move that could make it easier for the panel to advance a deal with Democrats..." You read that right, the Boehner-led Republican Steering CommitteeSTRIPPED Rep. Tim Huelskamp (KS), Rep. Justin Amash (MI), Rep. Walter Jones (NC) and Rep. David Schweikert (AZ) of their committee assignments. No specific reason given... but Boehner knows he is sending a loud-and-clear message to conservatives in Congress by employing this Stalinist purge... 'go along with my plan to capitulate to Barack Hussein Obama or else.' Recently, many of you sent thousands of faxes to Tea Party Caucus members and the so-called Republican Leadership asking conservatives to mount a challenge to Boehner and Company IF Boehner continues his capitulation to Barack Obama's grand-scheme to destroy the United States of America. If button above does not work, please use this hyperlink. It Was "Clearly A Vindictive Move." It does not give us pleasure to demand Boehner's removal... it is no knee-jerk reaction. And this purge is no coincidence or innocent mistake. Boehner made a clear choice. He decided that he'd rather oppose you than oppose Barack Obama, and no man can lead others while he's stabbing them in the back. Huelskamp released a statement saying: "This is clearly a vindictive move and a sure sign that the GOP establishment cannot handle disagreement." He added that the Republican leadership "might think they have silenced conservatives but removing me and others from key committees only confirms our conservative convictions." It also "confirms" that it's time for Boehner to go. He must resign in disgrace or he must be forced out. As for Boehner's side of the story, Reuters summed it up as follows: "Boehner spokesman Michael Steel declined to be specific on the reasons for their ouster by the House Republican Steering Committee, which occurred Monday in a closed-door meeting." Reuters adds: "While there is often wrangling over committee chairmanships just before a new Congress takes office, it is rare for rank-and-file committee members to be stripped of their assignments." And Huelskamp, Amash and and Schweikert may not be the last to go. According to Freedom Works: "In the final days before the start of a new Congress, the Republican establishment is quietly purging crucial House committees of strong fiscal conservatives." Well it's not "quiet" anymore. Mr. Boehner has been caught red-handed with his hand in the cookie-jar. That's why now is not the time to sit on our hands. We must strike back hard. And we must strike back now. There can be no doubt. Boehner is not negotiating with Obama on ways to avoid the so-called 'fiscal cliff.' Instead he's negotiating on the rate of descent. Right out of the gate, Boehner offered Obama 800 billion dollars in tax increases. That comes to approximately 2,600 dollars for every man, woman and child in the United States. Well... perhaps not right out of the gate.... and he didn't call it a "tax increase." He called it"revenue enhancements" and talked tough for a couple of days as he plotted behind the scenes to push pesky conservatives in Congress out of the picture. He tried to tell us that "revenue enhancements" really meant more money going into government coffers due to economic growth from lowering taxes BEFORE he sent out trial balloons to Barack Obama that tax increases were on the table all along. Did he think you were stupid? Apparently he did. Apparently he forgot that Washington doesn't have a "revenue problem."Apparently he forgot that Washington has a SPENDING PROBLEM. He also forgot that the people who gave him the power he presently holds can take it away. Daniel Horowitz, writing for Red State, said, “[W]hen you begin negotiations agreeing to 60 percent of the demands of the other side and fail to offer a bold contrast on the other 40 percent, you are headed for an outcome that is 80-90 percent favorable to your opponent." Tim Phillips, with Americans for Prosperity said: "The president's proposal and Speaker Boehner's counteroffer fail to seriously deal with the reality of the problems facing the nation. Conservatives are looking for a leader to fight against tax increases, to push back against wasteful government spending, and address the fiscal challenges in a bold way. Sadly, this plan leaves conservatives wanting." Of course, we shouldn't be shocked that Barack Obama responded to Boehner's immediate capitulation by making a ridiculous offer; saying he wanted double Boehner's amount in tax increases and the authority to raise the nation's debt ceiling at his leisure. What is shocking is that Boehner, after initially laughing at the offer, went right back to the table with Obama as he started his purge. His message to Barack Obama is 'I'll give you anything you want.' His message to conservatives is:'Play ball with my capitulations or you're out.' The idiocy must stop... negotiations must stop. It's clear that Boehner, the man who recently said:“We don’t have a Tea Party Caucus to speak of in the House,” has got everything insanely backwards and there is little hope in turning him back to face reality. We ASKED for a change in leadership. Now we're DEMANDING it. For the sake of the country it's time for Boehner to go quietly into that political goodnight.
