As I write, we are 24 hours away from our final cutoff for our hand-delivery of petitions and letters on behalf of Sheriff Joe.
The latest count indicates that we have 143,998 petitions and personal letters ready to be hand-delivered to the Department of Justice and Congress. That means we are just about 6,000 petitions and letters short of our 150,000 goal.
My staff will begin final processing of the letters and petitions at 9am Central tomorrow (Tuesday).

This attack on Sheriff Joe is the latest in a "long train of abuses" by Obama's Justice department that demands a response. As I'm sure you recall... **Obama's DOJ orchestrated the entire "Fast and Furious" gun-walking operation that led to hundreds of deaths including a U.S. Border Patrol Agent.
**Obama's DOJ is suing in federal court to oppose Arizona's immigration law.
**Obama's DOJ refuses to defend the Defense of Marriage Act -- a blatant refusal to enforce the legitimate laws of our nation.
**Obama's DOJ looked the other way in the face of Black Panther voter intimidation tactics.
**Obama's DOJ looked the other way when two Justice Department officials were caught accepting bribes. And now Obama's DOJ is using raw "Chicago style" political bullying tactics to intimidate an Arizona Sheriff who insists on enforcing our immigration laws -- even going so far as to tell the Sheriff that Grassfire's petitions should not be mentioned on his website!
