When Worlds Collide
Diapers, Dishes & Dominion: How Christian Housewives Can Change the World

Moral CapitalismChange your mind about changing diapers and you could change the world.

It's hard being a wife and mother. The constant barrage of feminist propaganda tells stay-at-home moms their lives are insignificant, and inner discontentment can spring up from the mundane frictions of daily routine. From many sources, Christian housewives are under attack every day. And for some of them, a bad day has become their whole lives.

Author Leah Smith was in that boat: plagued by shapeless anxieties and prod- ded by nameless longings. She was ready to give up on marriage, family... even life. And she didn't even know why. One night, she asked God to liberate her from her fears. Right then, she began a journey of freedom into the truth. Her life has never been the same.

Diapers, Dishes & Dominion is a product of that journey -- a summary record of the truths God can use to transform ordinary Christian housewives into His weapons of mass reconstruction. In simple and straightforward language, Leah exposes some of the most prevalent lies Satan uses to keep Christian women irrelevant in God's Kingdom, and she presents biblical truths these wives and mothers need to know in order to change the world — one diaper at a time.

Every wife and mother who wants to make an impact needs to read Diapers, Dishes & Dominion

The first step to changing the world is changing your mind.

Moral Capitalism: The Moral
Implications of Work and Wealth

Moral CapitalismFrom the founding of the colonies to the declaration of the Supreme Court, America's heritage is built up on the principles of the Christian religion. And yet the secularists are dismantling this foundation brick by brick, attempting to deny the very core of our national life.

You weigh the evidence. Consider the following facts which are being systematically erased from our nation's memory:
  • David Bahnsen: "The Folly of Work without Wealth and Wealth without Work
  • Andrew Sandlin: "Worldviews in Collusion: Economics at the Vanguard of Culture"
  • Robert Sirico: "The Mandate for Virtuous Capitalism"
  • Jay Richards: "God, Money, and Greed"
  • Robert Sirico: "Free Markets and the Promise of Hope"
  • Dinesh D'Souza: "The Virtue of Prosperity"
“The conference was amazing, and we hope to attend your seminars in the future.”

“I wholeheartedly agree with less government, free markets, and the idea that people aren’t inspired to succeed without the threat of failure. I’m worried about the poor work ethic and sense of entitlement we’re creating for the generations ahead of us. Thank you for reminding us all that capitalism can and should be moral.”

America's Christian History: The Untold Story
Ishmael CoverFrom the founding of the colonies to the declaration of the Supreme Court, America's heritage is built up on the principles of the Christian religion. And yet the secularists are dismantling this foundation brick by brick, attempting to deny the very core of our national life.

You weigh the evidence. Consider the following facts which are being systematically erased from our nation's memory:
  • In 1892, the Supreme Court of the United States declared, "This is a Christian nation."
  • During the War for Independence, Congress resolved to import 20,000 volumes of the Bible because "the use of the Bible is so universal, and its importance so great."
  • The New England Confederation stated that the purpose of the colonies was "to advance the Kingdom of our Lord Jesus Christ and to enjoy the liberties of the gospel in purity with peace."
  • Harvard College required that each student believe that "the main end of his life and studies is to know God and Jesus Christ which is eternal life."
  • John Adams wrote, "The Christian religion is...the Religion of Wisdom, Virtue, Equity, and humanity."
  • Engraved on the metal cap on the top of the Washington Monument are the words "Praise be to God."

Christianity is written on every page of America's amazing history. Gary DeMar presents well-documented facts which will change your perspective about what it means to be a Christian in America; the truth about America's Christian past as it relates to supreme court justices, and presidents; the Christian character of colonial charters, state constitutions, and the US Constitution; the Christian foundation of colleges, the Christian character of Washington, D.C.; the origin of Thanksgiving and so much more.

Three appendixes have been added to this new edition that further emphasize Christianity's positive influence on America, including "Deism and the Founding of America" and "Jesus Christ and the Founding of America." This is an indispensable book which is needed in a time when even "under God" is coming under fire.

Is Public Education Necessary?

Obama Spendulus Calculator

In early American history, a literate and well-educated majority of Americans thrived without a national, tax-funded educational program. In fact, few of the men who signed the Declaration of Independence and drafted the U.S. Constitution had ever seen a public school, and yet they benefitted from a free system of education vastly superior to the imagined benefits of today's state-controlled schooling.

What happened over the course of the last two and a half centuries? Why did Americans surrender the educational freedom that produced such widespread academic excellence to embrace a state of functional illiteracy under complete government control?

In his seminal book Is Public Education Necessary?, Samuel Blumenfeld unpacks two centuries of source material to present an accurate history of the religious and philosophical transformations that gave birth to the educational statism controlling America's children today.

From the New England Puritan experiments in compulsory schooling to the Unitarian crusades to perfect man with the "strong arm of government," Blumenfeld shows that public education in America has always been more about religion than literacy.

A colorful history full of fascinating characters and incisive commentary, Is Public Education Necessary? challenges American parents to discard the common wisdom concerning public schools—to reshoulder the responsibilities that are rightfully theirs, to fight to keep the liberties they inherited, and to teach their children to do the same.

Gateway to Liberty: The Constitutional Power of the 10th Amendment

Paradise Restored Cover

No amendment in our Bill of Rights is more deeply rooted in American history, politics, and government than our Tenth Amendment. Its roots are deep in the colonies histories, in the framing and ratification of our first constitution, our Articles of Confederation, and in the framing and ratification of our Constitution and our Bill of Rights. They might be traced back to English history and the authority of self-governing entities in medieval law, and even to the form of civil government which God gave His people when they entered the Promised Land after their exodus from Egypt, though that is beyond the scope of this work.

It should be enough for us to know that the Tenth Amendments protection of federalism of each states right to govern its own internal affairs except for those few areas of authority which the states delegated to our central government in the Constitution and those few powers which the states forbade to themselves in our fundamental law was not an afterthought but an explicit reaffirmation of a principle that is absolutely fundamental to our constitutional system of civil government.

No amendment is of more practical importance than our Tenth Amendment for protecting what remains of our liberty and recovering the huge percentage of liberty that previous generations, and we ourselves, have surrendered to the Federal Leviathan. For our federal system was and still is a system of separation of powers with checks and balances between our national/central government and our states governments. Our state governments have powers which can be used against central government usurpations. And our state and local government officials, not to mention our states citizens, have means of influencing the officials of our national government to obey the oaths of office which all our elected and appointed officials take to uphold our Constitution.

It is encouraging to see that more and more of our elected officials, particularly at the state level, are realizing the importance of our Tenth Amendment to the proper functioning of state government and its function as the gateway to the preservation of our liberty.

This humble volume will help those who are on the front lines of the great conflict between the advocates of arbitrary, unlimited government and limited, constitutional government; and that it will help inform Americans of the historical, foundational, and essential importance of our Tenth Amendment to constitutional government, the rule of law, and freedom for all Americans.

PolitiChick Victoria Jackson interviews author Joel McDurmon to answer this controversial question:

Is it is a sin to drink alcohol? What Would Jesus Drink? Cover Image

What Would Jesus Drink? A Spirit-Filled Study
What Would Jesus Drink? Cover Image

Bring up the issue of alcohol in your local church and you're bound to hear many different views and opinions on how the Christian should respond. In reality though, the only view that matters is the biblical one. Whether Christians want to imbibe or abstain, the first question that must be answered is "What Would Jesus Drink?"

With a compelling combination of biblical theology, scriptural exegesis, and Jewish cultural history, author Joel McDurmon takes on the question with a clarity and honesty that is as refreshing as it is rare. Taking a neutral corner in any debate is not McDurmon's style, and it is certainly not the strategy of this book.

He does not stop with simply answering the title question, instead he goes on to show that food and drink, and the act of eating or drinking itself, have for far too long been taken for granted by modern Christians. What Would Jesus Drink? A Spirit-Filled Study is not just another dull book about Christian doctrine and practice; it is a rich and full study of the goodness and grace of God. It is an intensely practical book about the joy of celebration and the blessings of covenant community.
