COMMENTARY:

Douse the Flames, Mr. President!
By Patrick J. Buchanan
President Obama was right to say that the death of Trayvon Martin is a tragedy that cries out for a more thorough investigation. But the statement fell far short of what was needed: a presidential call for a halt to the rhetoric that is stirring up racial rage and inflaming the nation.

Profiling
By Walter E. Williams
If evidence emerges that George Zimmerman's actions were not justified, he should be prosecuted and punished. However, there's a larger issue that few people understand or have the courage to acknowledge -- namely, that black and young has become synonymous with crime and suspicion.
