  Ever since the American people recognized that out-of-control spending was destroying our country and our children's futures, we've been fighting to elect representatives with the courage to stand up for fiscal sanity. And ever since the Tea Party began upending business-as-usual in Washington DC, liberals and the establishment elites have attacked us for simply saying no to endless government spending. This anti-Tea Party venom hit a new low last Sunday, when Harry Reid took to the media to blame recently-elected representatives of being "extremists" and "obstructionists on steroids." Reid's attack shows how threatened he is by our movement, and that he will stop at nothing to continue his party's reckless spending habits. Luckily, we have leaders like Rep. Allen West, who responded to Reid this week, saying "This past Sunday on Meet The Press, we saw Senator Harry Reid talk about people being obstructionists. We saw him blame the Tea Party, we saw him blame Senate Republicans. He's even blamed House Freshmen on the Republican side. But what Harry Reid does not understand simply, the constitutional conservative grassroots movement called the Tea Party stands for this, they stand for fiscal responsibility, they stand for fiscal sanity. And the American people have to balance budgets in their homes. Our small business owners have to balance budgets to run their businesses. So obviously what Harry Reid calls obstructionism. I look at it, he stands for fiscal irresponsibility. He stands for fiscal insanity!" Like Rep. West, we are proud to be considered "obstructionists" by those who seek to bankrupt our nation. But make no mistake: Harry Reid won't be satisfied with just attacking us in the media. Principled leaders like Allen West are top targets for the Democrats in the coming election, and to support his brave stand against fiscal insanity, he needs our support.
