Fellow Patriot, Next month will be a crucial month in the fight to repeal ObamaCare.
March 23rd will mark the 2nd anniversary of the passage of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act. As Nancy Pelosi told us, they had to pass the bill so we could find out what is in it. And boy, have we ever found out.
The mandates. The tax increases. The fees. The fiscally unworkable CLASS Act. Even wonton violations of our First Amendment-guaranteed right to freedom of religion. They're all in there. And that's only the beginning.
Right now, nearly two years into living with ObamaCare, this government take-over of our private health care decisions is as unpopular as ever. In the most recent Rasmussen Reports poll, a majority of Americans — 52% — oppose the law. At no point either before or after ObamaCare passed and was signed into law have more Americans approved of it than opposed it. Independent Women's Voice is working hard, every day, to advance the flag for repeal of ObamaCare and to bring about real market-based reforms to our health care system. Only a few days after ObamaCare's 2nd anniversary, the Supreme Court will begin to hear arguments on the Constitutional challenges to the law. The simple fact that these cases have worked their way up to the Supreme Court this quickly is evidence of the profound problems with this law.
But as of right now, Justice Elena Kagan still hasn't recused herself from sitting in judgment of arguments in defense of ObamaCare that she helped to craft.
Justice Kagan's refusal to recuse herself calls into question the very integrity of the Supreme Court. That's why we created TellKagan.com, an online petition calling on Justice Kagan to do the right thing — recuse herself from the case.
