Good Friday to you all! The weekend is upon us (make sure to spring your clocks forward on Saturday night!) and we have a lot of great pieces you have to read today:
Audrey Hudson was at the Senate yesterday to chronicle the continued political gamesmanship from the president and the Democratic-controlled Senate over the Keystone pipeline issue. The president lobbied hard to make sure Sen. John Hoeven's (R-S.D.) amendment to ensure the pipeline is constructed would be defeated. It was. Audrey has the play by play from Capitol Hill.
Also – Columnist Michelle Malkin exposes the latest in the long-line of green companies that have underperformed or have gone out of business, with no help from our hard earned tax dollars. This time it's a solar company in her own state of Colorado.
You've heard of ObamaCare, right? A portion of the monolithic legislation comes before the Supreme Court at the end of the month, so the scrutiny is heightened as of late. The HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius has been front and center of committee hearing after committee hearing, fielding questions. John Hayward has a video of an exchange between Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wis.) and Sebelius, and let me just say, the exchange is extremely telling of how this law is so gigantic and convoluted that no one has any idea what's going on. It's a must watch.
Have a great weekend and I'll talk to y'all on Monday!
