Dear Patriot,
With congressional districts redrawn after the 2010 census, dozens of races across the country have been turned upside down. There are great conservative candidates who ran two years ago and performed well in very tough districts, and many of them are running again this year. The difference is, in some cases, that the newly drawn congressional districts contain more Republican voters and give these candidates an opportunity to defeat longtime liberal incumbents!
We're monitoring these races closely and looking for opportunities to make a big difference in campaigns that could help solidify a conservative majority in the House of Representatives. And that's why we're proud to endorse Ilario Pantano in North Carolina's 7th Congressional District.
Pantano is great patriot and respected combat veteran. He believes in promoting job growth, revitalizing the economy, and in a strong national defense. He ran in 2010 against 16-year incumbent Democrat Mike McIntyre, posing the strongest challenge McIntyre has ever faced and nearly pulling off the upset of the year.
Now, under more favorable district lines, we have an opportunity to take this great American and tremendous patriot and send him to Washington to represent "We the People."
As always, our endorsement carries weight - not just a friendly Facebook status or strongly worded press release. We will be making a donation directly to Pantano's campaign, we will be working with grassroots conservatives in North Carolina and across the country to benefit Pantano's effort, and we will explore what independent expenditures will best help his campaign.
The extent to which we're able to help this candidates depends on you.
