It wasn't until 12:25 a.m. that we finally heard the sigh of relief all the way from Boston, Mass. Most news outlets began to allude to the former Massachusetts governor's inevitable comeback around midnight, reminding the true junkies who were up still watching returns that the heavily urban areas outside Cincinnati and Cleveland were coming in heavy for Romney (Hamilton and Cuyahoga counties). However, the tightness of that race, when looking at how much money Mitt Romney and his unaffiliated Super PAC spent in Ohio, is certainly not what he wanted out of last night. The narrative that he is still the most electable candidate versus Rick Santorum's appeal to conservatives is still ringing true if you believe exit polls from Ohio yesterday.

Tony Lee's delegate projection, as of this morning: Romney 395, Santorum 170, Gingrich 105, Paul 55. He has the path forward for Romney all laid out for you. You'll need it when all of your friends are debating you on who's going to win this thing.

But as Dick Morris pointed out this morning on 'Fox and Friends,' "Romney wins this thing on June 6... but if we have six more months of these guys killing each other, we won't have a party left."

Certainly something to take heed there...
