| | | Dear Friend,
The week between Christmas and New Year's is a time for reflection on the past year and a recommitment to the principles and values we use to lead our lives.
2011 was a mixed bag for many Americans. Our economy continues to sputter, the government in Washington is still spending too much money and our immigration policy remains muddled and confused.
We learned our Department of Justice was putting guns in the hands of Mexican criminals. I'm proud to say our efforts to expose what Eric Holder and the White House knew about Operation Fast and Furious is slowly but surely paying dividends.
On the political front, 2011 is a year when our Congressional Districts are redrawn to adjust for changes in our population. Many of you have encouraged me to consider running for Congress under these new districts.
I've set up a Congressional exploratory committee and been traveling throughout the state, listening to the concerns of our citizens. We've been discussing the problems facing Arizona families and what it will take to finally get Congress to listen to us.
You have told me that keeping a firm hold on our conservative principles is the best route to follow. Our shared vision of limited government, lower taxes, strong families and secure borders is a formula for a return to a prosperous America.
As I move toward making a final decision on whether to seek a seat in Congress, I need your help.
First, can you join me on Facebook? We've found Facebook to be an effective method to communicate our message and exchange information with our supporters.
Second, would you make a donation to my campaign? Already the liberals--such as billionaire George Soros--have been attacking me. So we must be prepared to fight back and defend our record.
A contribution of $50, $100, $250 or even $1000 will help me prepare for our next political endeavor. And you can be assured, we will be aggressive in fighting back against Holder, President Obama, and the other liberals who are running our country today.
I trust you and your family had a Merry Christmas and good holiday season. Thank you in advance for your support and encouragement. I look forward to working with you in 2012.
Sincerely, Sheriff Paul Babeu
P.S. As you join my Facebook team, please feel free to post comments on our page. We take your input very seriously and need feedback from our supporters. And please make a donation to my campaign if you can. |
